When imparted with enterpreneurial skills, the people of the community targeted not only get a regular source of income but also feel that their dignity and self-respect has been restored. Enactus serves as a medium to their independence and self-reliability, not just for a limited period of time but throughout their lives. Students, when working closely with these people also learn the essence of being a human and then engineers or doctors. It gives them an opportunity to see people as people, struggling through life. In this busy and self-oriented life, true help offered is the one in which nothing is expected in return. Such is the platform Enactus provides, to create self sustainable businesses and empower people. In the path of making this possible, various situations arise wherein leadership qualites, team work, etc. is required. These skills, when imparted, build a stronger youth for tomorrow who is well aware and confident enough to work in the society.

Efforts, even the seemingly smallest ones, when made with good intentions and utmost sincerity eventually do make a difference. Enactus is a perfect model of incorporating commitment to the society and education. It
offers students the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork and
communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles
of free enterprise, in hopes of improving the standard of living for people in
need.

A big happy family to me now, it
gives me immense pleasure to see students of my institute grow and witness
their continuous progress in building up leadership, cooperation and
organization ability.
Of course the journey was a tough one but like it’s said, with hard work, dedication and passion anything can be achieved.
Together we commit to apply our passions and talents and ideas to
impact as many lives as we can. Not to hand out help to people in need, but to
work side- by-side with them to create opportunity. So every person and
community we touch is empowered to live up to their fullest potential.
Today, I would like you to give you a dream, the dream of representing
ENACTUS INDIA; you own home flag in finals and holding ENACTUS WORLD CUP in
2015.
